Have you ever considered donating monthly via debit order or becoming a Cat Sponsor? Email sspicer@uwc.ac.za to find out more.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a registered PBO and supply 18A certificates to donors.
Tame, domesticated cats (and even kittens) are sometimes deliberately dumped on our campus and we immediately remove them, so that they can be rehomed. They are taken to the vet to be checked, vaccinated and sterilised. Thereafter we advertise them until a suitable new home is found. Application forms are filled in (home checks may be done) and an adoption fee of R650 (which includes vaccination, deworming, testing, sterilisation and microchip costs) is payable by the new owner/s.
By becoming a member you will be helping us protect cats’ lives. We are implementing Trap-Neuter-Return programs to keep community cats out of shelter. To become a member, please download our membership form.

If you have a rodent problem, rather than using pest control poisons that are bad for the environment and a danger to household companion animals and wildlife who may ingest the remains of these animals, a green alternative exists: feral cats. Cats are age old, highly effective and inexpensive means of controlling rodents. A feral cat can keep your factory, farm, barn, shed or shop rodent free for the price of daily cat food.
